Dark, moody & atmospheric with small glimmers of light & hope, is the constant sound, vibe and motif of Late Penumbra Plus. Katrah-Quey's most earliest work delves deep inside his psyche, sharing to the listener pieces of his insecurities, fears, wonders & questions about existence & the fabric of life. Backed with heavy boombap beats, programmed sub bass lines, light scratching, Katrah-Quey takes you on an existential adventure, employing his use of new age, vintage electronic, jazz samples & loops as your guide. Your magic carpet through your voyage is Katrah-Quey delicate & intricate arrangements in each tracks, keeping the groove steady but unpredictable without being jarring.
